Azad, a seasoned professional with over two decades (2000 to 2020) of extensive experience working in Government & Private Commercial Banks in International Banking, Trade Finance, Global Correspondent Banking, and FinTech innovation. My career journey reflects a deep commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and empowering businesses and individuals to achieve their financial and operational goals.
My Professional Journey
I began my career in banking with a focus on International Trade Finance, managing complex documentation and ensuring compliance with global standards. Over time, I advanced into leadership roles, steering strategic initiatives in areas such as:
- Global Correspondent Banking: Establishing and nurturing international partnerships to facilitate seamless cross-border trade and financial operations.
- Foreign Exchange and Remittance: Driving efficient and secure foreign currency transactions and ensuring smooth remittance processes for clients.
- SWIFT Operations: Mastering the complexities of secure cross-border communication and payment processing in alignment with global regulatory frameworks. I am the founder Joint Secretary of S.W.I.F.T. Member & Users Group of Bangladesh and Country best S.W.I.F.T. Operational & Technical Expert.
- AML and Compliance: Spearheading Anti-Money Laundering (AML) efforts and ensuring adherence to evolving financial regulations and KYC standards.
